Good morning, Hampton Roads. Lets check our Team Coverage of the deadly storms continues now from one of the hardest hit areas in state waverly. Surveying the damage all morning. Rico what are you seeing . Curfew in waverly has been lifted residents are also asked to stay at their residences, as First Responders are going doortodoor overnight to make certain all residents are accounted for. Town and county residents are asked to avoid travel overnight due to debris and downed trees in the roadways. Previously reported at approximately 2 40 p. M. , Virginia State police began responding to incidents of severe storm damage in the town of waverly along route 40. A 50yearold male, 26yearold male and 2 yearold male were killed when their mobile home was destroyed in the storm. All three were yards from the mobile home. The bodies were transported to the office of the medical examiner in norfolk for positive identification. State police are still working on next of kin notifications no names

We can breathe a little bit easier in Hampton Roads, but that is definitely a twister when you see that kind of damage to a tree. That was very likely a tornado had moved through the town of waverly. That looks like something was pretty close to the level, not just roof damage. If we can go back to our last picture, again, it is a small area, and then there is a wider area which has a lot of debris. You can see some vehicles and some twister damage there. Some roof damage. It looks like a structure could have been leveled. Again, we are looking at, quite certainly looks like a tornado went through the waverly area, which is, of course, right on in up here. We have no reports of damage into the Hampton Roads cities, but we do have numerous Tornado Warnings. One Tornado Warning that does remain for north county.
