Black most recently served as chief financial officer at Finlandia University in Hancock, according to an Albion College news release. He also spent time working in corporate finance at Johnson & Johnson, as well as executive roles at DRS Naval Power Systems and Trident Maritime Systems. “I have never gone the conventional route,” Black said. “When the Albion position opened, I thought that this was something that could be right up my alley. This was higher education and it’s a small, private school. I enjoy that and I thought they could probably use my skill set.
