Valerie Loureda has an opponent for Bellator 258 and is looking to continue her winning streak in May.
Loureda teased the announcement on social media before news broke on Maxim that she would be facing Hannah Guy on May 7 at Bellator MMA’s “Fightsphere” at The Mohegan Sun. Loureda has gone 3-0 since making her debut in 2019 at Bellator 216 and has picked up two finishes by knockout TKO in her three wins.
Her opponent, Guy has about as much MMA experience as Loureda with a record of 2-1. Her two victories come by way of submission which makes this match-up look like the classic grappler versus striker setting. Especially with Guy’s foundation style being jiu-jitsu according to Tapology.
The latest UFC Fight Night offering should really go a long way toward determining just how devoted UFC fans can be. If you’re willing to wake up at 4:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, June 23, and watch UFC Fight Night 132 from start to finish, then you’re just about the hardest of hardcore fan around.
This card is available exclusively on UFC Fight Pass to boot, and it originates from Singapore, which explains the odd event start time. Even though much about this card is unusual, the main event features someone who is well known to just about every single UFC fan. Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone takes another crack at competing overseas, this time against Leon Edwards.

Juliana Velasquez's size and strength proved too much for Ilima-Lei Macfarlane to handle as the Brazilian became Bellator's second women's flyweight champion.
