road. let me tell you what happened here and then tell you what led up to it. police surrounded this neighborhood in south san jose easy street el cajon drive, and they had a suspect carjacking suspect from milpitas. milpitas police called san jose pd said they were in pursuit they needed help. san jose police came on to the scene they had k-9 units doing a house-to-house search, in search of jared brown who they believe had a handgun. he was hiding somewhere in this area. just a few moments ago, he sped off in a car. he broke the perimeter and took off. that is where we are right now. milpitas police told me the carjacking suspect they couldn t tell me when this carjacking initially occurred. they did spot the suspect in milpitas 8:30 this morning that is when they went in pursuit and san jose police came. what we have is a perimeter in this neighborhood with a lot of officers, k-9 units still here. right now, the search is active on monterey road in pursuit of the this susp
