QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langove has expressed concern over display of arms, presence of private security guards and use of vehicles with tinted glasses in the province.
While reviewing the law and order situation during a meeting on Monday, the minister directed the authorities concerned to stop display of arms and use of vehicles with tinted glasses.
He also called for evolving a strategy about private security guards.
Chief Secretary Matahar Niaz Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Home Arshad Majeed, Inspector General of Police Tahir Rai, Secretary Primary Health Aziz Jamali and Commissioner Quetta Division Asfandyar Kakar, regional police officers, senior officials of the home department and other institutions attended the meeting.

QUETTA: Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Dr Jahanzeb Khan and Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani on Monday agreed to improve partnership between the federal government and Balochistan on development projects.
Official sources said that during a meeting, they discussed issues related to agriculture, livestock, mines & minerals, water, private investment and food security.
The meeting also discussed measures taken by the government for socio-economic development, Sustainable Development Goals, Universal Health Card, the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) Automation System and the Budget 2021-22.
