PUTRAJAYA: Clerk Sam Ke Ting's conviction for reckless driving that killed eight teen cyclists cannot stand as the charge framed against her was defective, the Court of Appeal was told on Friday (March 31).
PETALING JAYA: The Court of Appeal has fixed May 11 for case management of Sam Ke Ting's appeal for reckless driving that killed eight teenagers on "basikal lajak", or modified bicycles, in 2017.
PUTRAJAYA: She was sentenced to jail and fined by the High Court but Sam Ke Ting, whose case has been the subject of public debate, believes the judiciary is not to be blamed.
