7 held for gang-rape of woman in Gazipur Star Online Report Star Online Report Police today arrested seven people on charges of gang-raping a woman in Gazipur s Kapasia upazila. The arrestees are Mahfuzul Huq (20), Mahbubul Hosen Shakib (22), Roman Byapari (20), Masum Sheikh (21), Rakib Hosen (20), Jobayer (21) and Mostarin Sardar (21), our local correspondent reports quoting police. However, the prime accused Sakhawat is still at large, said Sub-Inspector Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kapasia Police Station. The victim, the mother of one was visiting her father s house in Kapasia yesterday. Sakhawat, the prime accused had asked her to meet him at Naraidartek Karaitola yesterday. When she went there around 9:30pm, Sakhawat along with seven other raped her, the SI said.
