Hearthstone announced that 10 players are ready to make their mark in the first season of the Grandmasters 2021. These players were the top earners of all six Masters Tours last year. What’s going to happen is these players will battle in weekly tournaments. The goal is to make it to the playoffs for Season 1 and get a chance to be invited to the 2021 World Championship.
The 10 players are divided into four for the Americas, three for Asia-Pacific, and three for Europe. Today, we take a look at what these players bring to the competition.
Americas
For this region, one of the players who made it to the Grandmasters is Shuntian “DreadEye” Luo of the US. DreadEye caught the eye of fans with an 8–1 record along with a fourth-place finish in last October s Masters Tour Montreal. His instinctual playstyle is but one of the reasons why he got an invite to the Grandmaster.
