IIT Madras: IIT Madras' Zanzibar campus inaugurated, 50 per cent students in first batch Indians

The Zanzibar campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has admitted its first batch of students, with approximately 50% of them being Indian and 40% being women, according to IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti. The campus offers a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science and AI and a two-year Master of Technology degree in Data Science and AI.
