Last month, we spoke with Bungie general manager Justin Truman to discuss Destiny 2 s latest major update Season of the Chosen.
We start by talking about the surprise return of Exotic missions in recent weeks. These are secret quests which can be attempted alone or as part of a team, and between their challenge and unique spin on Destiny s mechanics, are up there with dungeons and raids as some of the best activities the game has to offer.
As well as this, how the community has inspired recent solo challenges and the future of live events in Destiny 2, we also discuss the approach for the Destiny Content Vault - an initiative which allows Bungie to cycle out destinations, maps and modes from the game, and also reintroduce things from Destiny s past - starting with the original Destiny s Cosmodrome area in late 2020, and the Vault of Glass raid later this year.

Bird of Prey, one of the final quests of the Season of the Hunt, has been released in Destiny 2. This quest rewards an Exotic ship but in order to get it, players must complete a challenging mission called Harbinger. It’s not clear how to start Harbinger or how to progress to new areas and the various encounters are tough as nails. For those who are able, bring a fireteam!
Bird of Prey quest
The Bird of Prey quest in Destiny 2 is picked up from Crow in the Tangled Shore. Completing this quest rewards an Exotic ship but completing the Harbinger mission within this questline rewards the Hawkmoon Exotic catalyst and another copy of Hawkmoon, albeit with random rolls. You must have Hawkmoon unlocked to gain access to this quest.
Necrotic Grip is a brand new pair of Warlock Exotic gauntlets added to Destiny 2 with Beyond Light. These grotesque gloves are rather unique in that they function well with every subclass. For those that want to significantly improve their killing potential, farming for the Necrotic Grip should be a top priority.

As far as Warlock Exotics go, Necrotic Grip is certainly up there as one of the best. These gloves are all about giving a Warlock’s melee a damage-over-time effect that spreads to other enemies. It’s incredibly useful at clearing out waves of adds and oppressive to fight against in Crucible.
