you mentioned the one that a program is downloaded in the denial of service attack. like you said floods the internet. that s an old-fashioned thing, that s been going on for a long time. for at least a decade. there have been, like examples where people in protests have tampered with government websites. it s not necessarily new. it s highly publicized right now, because wikileaks, the whole subject is so tense. you mentioned the actual infrastructure of these credit card companies has not been affected. they re much more secure than master.com s website is a website like many companies websites. but mastercard s payment systems and visa and paypal, that s a whole different level of security. that s a different thing going on. if you re flooding a website with traffic, you re basically shutting down the front end of it. nothing necessarily was damaged. but you re not able to access it. if you re that company it s a problem because they do do business over their website. the
