While speaking with the
Corvette Forum, Dennis Kahler revealed that he purchased a scratch-off ticket in the Georgia Lottery, winning himself a new Corvette valued at up to $107,000, as well as $250,000 in cash. Georgia Lottery was meant to work with local dealerships to supply the winner with their dream Corvette.
Kahler’s ideal 2021 Corvette Stingray is a 2LT model in Rapid Blue with the Z51 performance package. It has an MSRP of $80,465, meaning he can enjoy some added cash, in addition to the $250,000 he won.
The first snag that Kahler hit is the fact that pretty much every 2021 C8 Corvette ordered already has an owner. In addition, he says that the first dealership tapped on the shoulder by Georgia Lottery, Five Star Chevrolet, was only willing to let him order his dream Corvette for a $10,000 markup.

NEW YORK - A Georgia man thought he hit the jackpot when he won $250,000 and a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray in a scratch-off lottery game in December, but he’s run into a roadblock cashing in on his new wheels.
Dennis Kahler told Fox News Autos he purchased one $5 Corvette and Cash ticket at kiosk while picking up lunch for his wife at a fast-food restaurant. He hadn’t previously played the game, but found a $5 bill in his pocket and decided to go for it. The contest promised the $250G plus enough to buy a fully-loaded Corvette Stingray and cover the taxes and fees and he gets to keep the difference if anything is left over from the $107G allotment for the car.
