DJ Sbu retires from radio! Andiswa Ngenyane AFTER 20 years on radio and TV, DJ Sbu is calling it a day. The Massiv Metro founder is retiring from the airwaves. He worked at YFM, Metro FM and Ukhozi FM before founding Massiv Metro. He’ll now focus on behind-the-scenes work. The DJ, whose real name is Sbusiso Leope, said: “My career has come full circle. It’s 20 years old. I’ve outdone myself. “I didn’t think I’d go this far. I’m stepping away from the mic to focus on mentoring new talent.” The DJ recently broke the record for the world’s longest radio show because “he wanted to go out with a bang”.
