The Wigwam Cabins at the top of Western Summit (after the Hairpin Turn) has some of the best panoramic views of the area.
A BNRC trail offers a 2-mile Sunset Rock Loop hike or a heftier 6-mile RT along the ridgeline to Spruce Hill. The Spruce Hill trail sits atop an abandoned railroad tunnel, a rail connection between northern Berkshire and Boston that opened in 1876. (For more info: www.bnrc.org/the-high-road)
