Exeter firefighter honored for serving nation as he serves community
EXETER – Massachusetts Air National Guard Master Sgt. Ryan Hart is described by his commanding officers as a natural leader.
To those who work alongside him for his day job as an Exeter firefighter and EMT, as well as those who served with him in the National Guard, it came as no surprise when his guard commanders visited the Fire Department Friday to recognize Hart for his military service.
Hart received the first-ever Commander’s Coin issued by his unit, the 104th Fighter Wing. Lt. Col. Jeremy Dugan said the coins are given by commanding officers to service members under their command for their exemplary service.
