First Christmas an upcoming movie from the Oprah Winfrey-founded cable channel stars Idara Victor as Halle Downing, a young woman who is reunited with the biological family she didn’t know she had after growing up in foster care. Among this crop of new-to-her relatives is her half-sister, Tiffany Moore (Samantha Smith), who is queer.
Halle is welcomed into the Moore fam with open arms, but she soon realizes that there is tension afoot. Her first tip-off? Tiffany is afraid to introduce her new girlfriend, Paris (
