and as you know the ceos of american and united airlines tested before congress without masks on. and they actually downplayed the need for masks on the planes. but two days later, the ceo of southwest airlines gary kelly tested positive for covid. so what s your take here on the need for masks on flights. and should we be listening more to doctors than airline ceos? well, i hope so. and yes, we do need it. because travel isn t just about the planes, right? even though there are good filters on the planes when the planes are on. when the planes are off, at the gates, all of the gatherings at the airports, getting to the airports, using public transportation, all of that travel carries risk. what i would recommend is a good quality mask. particularly with omicron. what you re seeing what the w.h.o. says is a force of infection. which means you re most likely to get inflected around a person
