The Edge s Clinton Randell to host The Masked Singer New Zealand

A panel of famous faces will attempt to guess who the singer behind the mask is, with contestants being eliminated and unmasked until one takes home the golden Masked Singer trophy.   While it will be Randell s first time hosting a competition like this, he s no stranger to singing and dancing on screen himself. The broadcaster made his television debut competing on New Zealand Idol at the age of 21, and more recently won third place on the 2019 season of Dancing With The Stars NZ.  I love singing, but the nerves to perform in front of a crowd are too much for me these days. in fact before any audition I would make my family sit on the couch with blankets over their heads so they couldn t see me, Randell said in a statement.
