Momen for keeping eyes on Bangabandhuâs fugitive killers abroad

DHAKA, Dec 21, 2020 (BSS) â Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen today urged the expatriate Bangladeshis to keep eye on Bangabandhuâs fugitive killers, who have remained hiding in different countries across the world.
âExpatriate Bangladeshis should keep eye on some fugitive killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who have remained hiding in different countries . . . . Bangabandhu Foundation has already started âSignature Campaignâ in the USA and Canada in this regard,â he said.
Speaking at a virtual discussion titled âSpirit of Victory Day and Todayâs Bangladeshâ organised by âBangabandhu Foundationâ, the foreign minister added: âThey (expatriates) are collecting signatures and delivering all those documents to the respective governments in this regard.

Return on investment in Bangladesh is much higher than its neighbouring countries, said Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen, adding that both sides would benefit if foreigners invested here.
He said this while addressing a virtual discussion entitled The Spirit of the Victory Day and Today s Bangladesh, organised by the Bangabandhu Foundation on Monday.
Dr Momen said, Many people brand Bangladesh a poverty-stricken, cyclone-ridden and corrupt country. But, Bangladesh is now a country of immense potential, a role model for economic development, the first in disaster preparedness, and a star in women s empowerment.
