Op My Eish! , Mare of Easttown and more on DStv this week

It’s already the middle of April – but that doesn’t mean the entertainment stops. On the contrary, DStv has even more amazing programming lined up this week. Both M-Net (DStv channel 101) and kykNET (DStv channel 144) have exciting new shows. On M-Net, Kate Winslet takes on the role of producer and female lead in the limited series  Mare of Easttown. While trying to keep her life from falling apart, traumatised small-town detective Mare Sheehan (Winslet) must solve a brutal murder. As she constantly pushes the boundaries, she also uncovers the dark past and secret tragedies in her close community.  Op My Eish! is kykNET’s newest reality show with South African heartthrob Neels van Jaarsveld. Join him and wingman Henré Pretorius as Neels looks for love in Hermanus.

Nik Wallenda to bring his drive-in thrill show back home to Sarasota

“We’re really excited to bring this terrific show back to my hometown,” Nik Wallenda said in a statement. “We will feature some performers that were not here last year, which I’m confident the fans will enjoy tremendously.” Erendira Wallenda, a two-time Guinness World Record holder for aerial stunts, performed during her husband’s TV special over the Masaya Volcano in Nicaragua last March. David “The Bullet” Smith is billed as a second-generation cannonball with six Guinness World Record titles to his name. And the The FMX freestyle jumpers, who have been seen on shows such as “X Games,” will jump their dirt bikes over 75 feet through the air from ramp to ramp.

  After struggling with a lung problem, Alexander Bermúdez Sr., born in Managua, Nicaragua, gave his soul to the Creator this past January 30. Alex, as he was known, was born on Aug. 19, 1956. He died at the age of 64. His parents, Adrián Bermúdez and Mina Bermúdez, who went to the Lord before him. Mrs. Bermúdez passed November 17, 2015. At the young age of 19, Alex emigrated to the United States. Here he studied, became a man, got married, had three children, and developed his life in a successful way. Eventually he became a great pillar in the San Francisco Hispanic community. He, with his charisma and his joy for his surroundings, filled every path where life took him with those same feelings.
