GKIDS and Shout! Factory brought out the home video release for the
Summer Days with Coo film back on January 21st, 2020 where it was in Japanese only with English subtitles as no dub was produced for the film. The film is now getting some new streaming distribution with it arriving on the Tubi service here.

The film was written and directed by Keiichi Hara based on the novel by Masao Kogure. The Japanese cast includes Kazato Tomizawa as Coo, Takahiro Yokokawa as Kôichi Uehara, Naoki Tanaka as Yasuo Uehara, Naomi Nishida as Yukaki Uehara, and Tamaki Matsumoto as Hitomi Uehara.
