Of a possible ebola case here in our region. A patient at Howard University hospital was tested for the virus. Were still working right now to try to figure out those results. News 4s derrick ward meanwhile joins us live from the hospital. Derrick, what can we expect and learn later today . Well, we may learn more about the condition of the patient. Probably around noon as we hear from a spokesperson for the hospital. But you can say that the fears and concerns about ebola in our area as they stand right now have been cut by 50 . That is without knowing exactly the fate of the patient here at Howard University hospital. Now it was yesterday when we learned that a patient was admitted here in stable condition, exhibiting symptoms of the ebola virus. And that patient had indeed traveled to the country of nigeria and africa. So that patient has been admitted here. Tests are being run.
