The boss of Australiaâs largest brick making company says strong demand in the housing construction market in Victoria is proving a saviour as Sydneyâs economy is hit hard by lockdowns.
Lindsay Partridge, managing director of ASX-listed Brickworks, said on Tuesday the groupâs factories at Horsley Park and Punchbowl in outer Sydney, and at Bowral in the Southern Highlands region of NSW, are still running as normal but it is a volatile situation.
