The Kebabery, the casual offshoot of legendary wood-fired restaurant Camino, is closing its Oakland shop on Sunday. But don’t fret: The skewer restaurant is moving about two miles north to a bigger location, with room for an adjacent bakery.
The new Kebabery will open in South Berkeley at 2929 Shattuck Ave., right by the original Berkeley Bowl, in the coming weeks. Originally reported as a second location instead of a relocation, the new Berkeley restaurant is going to give the cooks breathing room with a kitchen that’s twice the size of the original.
