YARMOUTH Desmond Keogh knew the Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade was popular, but he didn’t realize just how popular it was until this year. Keogh chairs the committee that organizes the annual parade. When it was announced on Facebook in January that this year s event would be canceled, the committee was inundated with posts expressing people s disappointment. “We didn’t realize how much it meant to people,” Keogh said. “We’ve been hearing for three months how devastated they are.”
