SEQUIM — The color theme for this month’s First Friday Art Walk is purple — the color of Sequim’s famous lavender blooms, which will be featured during the Sequim Lavender Weekend on July 21-23.

David DeWire Miller, 80, died March 26, 2021 at Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal, N.Y., from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease.
A private celebration of his life will be held at Crossroads of Life Church Binghamton, N.Y. Time and date to be announced. (Updates at www.hefuneralhome.com)
Mr. Miller was born on Sept. 21, 1940 in York, Pa., to Dora (Dewire) and Rev. Joseph H. Miller. He graduated from Lock Haven High School in Lock Haven. He married Patricia Mae Baker and they raised three children. He had a successful career with the Brush Moore chain of newspapers before retiring.
