The national Weather Service urgently warning residents to complete preelparations today, adding, quote, some places are uninhabitable for weeks or months. Storm surge of 0 to 15 feet is expected along with winds as strong as 150 miles an hour. Mayor of New Orleans says if youre going to evacuate, now is the time to leave.
