State Rep. Mary Margaret Oliver (D-Decatur) is supporting a call for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) to look into the DeKalb County Commission District 2 election – the race that sparked a hand count and the delay of certifying the election results.
During the legislative session, lawmakers considered bills that would've prohibited counties and cities from creating local regulations that create different standards for or distinguish gas-powered leaf blowers from similar equipment. The legislation ultimately did not pass the Georgia General Assembly.
