Patrick Murphy, age 82, of Berryville, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. He was born on March 21, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, the son of the late Pat Murphy and the late Mary Koblezck Murphy White.
He enlisted into the United States Navy in 1955, and served as a mechanic onboard the USS Hull during the Cold War.
Pat lived life to the fullest, never wasting a day. After his time in the military, he spent 13 years working for Columbia Records as chief maintenance where he would meet his wife of 49 years, Lillie. He and his wife went on to work together at Trailmobile and retired at age 62. He loved to travel. He was known for his love of motorcycles and made many trips from Illinois to California on his bike. His wife, Lillie, and daughter, Carrie, would join him, with Carrie riding in the sidecar.
