A Currituck County commissioner faces possible censure, and the rest of the board has been accused of violating the state’s open meetings law. The Currituck County Board of Commissioners’ Feb. 5 agenda, before that meeting was canceled, included the consideration of two resolutions: One that would censure Commissioner Paul Beaumont, and another that would remove him from his two advisory board positions.
