Bartholomew, Mary Kathryn (Bartelt), age 96, of Minneapolis, passed away September 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her daughter, Leslie, and her sisters, Betty and Barb. She is survived by 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mary attended the Duluth State Teacher’s College where she became a charter member of the Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity chapter and made many lifelong friends. Mary was an active and talented woman known for being an accomplished pianist, a church organist and choir director, a gardener, a seamstress and quilter, and even a literacy volunteer. However, she will be missed the most by those who called her Mom and Grandma. A memorial service will be held 11 AM 9/28/23 at St Leonard of Port Maurice Church 3949 Clinton Ave, Minneapolis, MN.
