Consolidated Communications will provide access to high-speed Internet for thousands of people statewide as soon as next year, the company said after the N.H. Executive Council approved $40 million in federal funding.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Today 100 NC high school students enrolled in Carolina Fintech Hub’s Youth Technology Apprentice Camp (YTAC) will take a
virtual tour of Google’s Silicon Valley HQ followed by a virtual panel discussion.
The panel will include Mary Ellen Player, head of sales at sponsor Google Fiber, as well as reps of Live Oak Bank and nCino. The panel’s topic is making a successful post-school entry into the workforce. The tour of Google HQ and other YTAC virtual field trips are made possible by a donation of Google Cardboard.
