The older generation in Florida remember a time when women secretly had abortions in a Hialeah back office or flew to Puerto Rico to have a medico perform a procedure. But Roe v. Wade, the 1973 landmark Supreme Court case recognizing the right to choose abortion, has influenced the health care practices of women of younger generations who don’t know life without choice.
