Tipp Mid-West Radio s Louise Morrissey Tipp Mid West presenter, Louise Morrissey, is among a stellar line up of talent contributing to an online concert tonight in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. Today is 65 Roses Day, usually a key fundraising day for the charity.  This is the first every  65 Roses Day Concert. The event will commence at 8pm and is free to view via the website www.65roses.ie.  Cystic Fibrosis Ireland say an amazing line up of acts confirmed include Brian Kennedy, The High Kings, The Celtic Tenors, Dominic Kirwan, Michael English, Celine Byrne, Mary Duff  and of course Louise Morrissey.

Irish All-Star Band Tramyard Honors John Prine With The Release of Latest Single People Puttin People Down

  Article Contributed by 2911 Media | Published on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 Brand-new Irish jam band, Tramyard, have just launched their debut single in tribute to the late John Prine titled, “People Puttin’ People Down.” The group, featuring some of Ireland’s top session musicians, got together in the summer of 2020 to lay down their version of the John Prine classic. Initially, the recording was a personal endeavor that was not intended to be released, but the love of John Prine and the impact that his music left on the world made Tramyard change their minds. “People Puttin’ People Down” will be released on April 7th, exactly one year to the date of Prine’s passing and is available to stream and download on all digital platforms now.

DANIEL has achieved many ambitions in his 40-year career, and looking back today he says that he’s particularly proud of three spectacular shows that he had the opportunity to stage. The Rock ’n’ Roll Show, Songs of Faith and The Christmas Show were major productions by Daniel that won him both critical acclaim and were a massive hit with his fans “The repertoire that I have is all interlinked, but it’s quite broad. To be able to make it so broad and still hold on to a wide audience is great,” Daniel says. “It’s also so great today to be able to look back at my career and see the shows that I had the privilege of doing.
