Space. Splash down in the gulf of mexico after 64 days in space, completing the first crewed flight of the spacex crew dagen. They were testing the capabilities of the new space vehicle to the International Space station. They contributed more than that on their mission. During their 62 days aboard the station, they dedicated more than 100 hours to Scientific Investigation and worked with the expeditions 63 crew on four space walks to upgrade the power system among a number of other items. Since her retirement she has been active in her community and received one of the governors 50 volunteer awards for her work with the homeless, and also received Washington States outstanding Women Veterans award for 2011.
