The TBI said Mary Ann Sampson has a medical condition that might impair her ability to return home safely without assistance. Anyone who sees her should call 911.
Two new exhibits went on display Tuesday at the Gadsden Museum of Art, located at 515 Broad St. downtown.
According to a news release from the museum, “A Presentation by the One-eye Opera Company and OEOCO Press” by Mary Ann Sampson will be on display in the main gallery, and “Portraitude” by Tony Reddick will be on display in the second-floor gallery.
Both exhibits will run through April 30. No in-person reception is planned because of COVID-19 guidelines, according to the release, but there will be a livestream hosted on the museum’s Instagram account and Facebook page.
Simpson, of Ragland, calls her work ““a personal stage and a memory stick for a life lived … a field for random thoughts and imagination.”

Handing bags to the homeless and placing boxes in cars, members of Calvary Baptist Church performed one more act of Christian service this past weekend.
In its last initiative of a yearlong effort, volunteers from the Calvary Baptist Church congregation distributed 300 boxes to people in the Muslim, Hispanic and African American communities of Salt Lake City while also passing out 50 bags of food to individuals on the street Saturday.
Jackie Hesleph, the church’s director of evangelism and community outreach, said the goal was to give people a little extra food through the holiday season.
