Marvin Roger Foster died Nov. 22. He was 87.
Foster was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Fort Collins Colorado to Orville and Dorothy (Munn) Foster. He graduated in 1952 from Tracy High School and played basketball, track and then went to Delta College where his team won the state championship in 1954. After graduating from Tracy High School hen was employed by the Tracy Press, worked for his parents at The Freeze, drove a bread truck for 10 years and then retired after 30 years at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Site 300.
