MARIE JUNE FRANCIS: 1936–2020
Marie Francis was a gifted pianist at the forefront of the Sydney jazz scene during the 70s and 80s. She appeared on Brian Henderson s show
Bandstand and was sought after to play at numerous music venues around Sydney.
Marie Francis Family Band: young Marie is on the piano, her mother is on bass and her father is on drums.
Marie June Francis was born in Wellington, New Zealand, the eldest of seven children, to William and Joyce Francis.
