Up to another 3 inches of floodproducing rain is possible. The storm made its way through the southeast yesterday. There were flash floods in north carolina, stranding motorists and flooding homes. By the time the Severe Weather reached massachusetts, the powerful wind was taking down trees and power lines. Some smashed into homes. Others blocked roads. It was a violent storm, i knew that. I looked out my side window and i saw my maple tree, which is huge, going in all different directions. At that point my wife and i went down in the cellar because we didnt know what was going to happen. There was also extensive damage in new jersey and flooding in new york.
