CLEVELAND, Ohio With a solar storm possibly headed toward Northeast Ohio, Clevelanders have a chance to see one of the atmosphere’s most beautiful showcases.
The National Weather Service Cleveland tweeted Tuesday that the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, could be visible Wednesday or Thursday night, according to information from the Space Weather Prediction Center. Douglas Biesecker, a physicist with the SWPC, said the solar storm is expected to arrive Wednesday evening.
