SPRING VALLEY - Rockland County on Thursday released vaccination data, broken down by ZIP code, that shows concerning trends: Some of the regions where COVID-19 infections have been the highest show the lowest rate of vaccinations.
County Executive Ed Day announced that the health department would bring vaccinations to communities to help ensure vaccines were more accessible.
Day stood outside the Martin Luther King Multi-purpose Center, which is serving as a vaccination hub. Vaccine clinics are being run there by the county s health department on Thursday and Friday. A total 500 people are expected to be vaccinated at the site. Appointments are booked and no walk-in slots are available.
