Every Police Officer. Anne. Reporter yeah, and this plan would make San Francisco Police Force One of the largest in the nation to put a body camera on every officer in the force. The mayor is making this proposal today. He would spend more than 3 million to buy 1600 body cams. A lot of this is about trust after several well publicized killings of unarmed black man by Police Across the nation. And the sfpd had its own issues like the text message scandal earlier this year revealing how racist some on the force were. We spoke with the police chief on our sunday morning show about accountability. Im not saying that were not going to have a longer conversation to explain every time we do use any level of force.
