With lockdown in the UK starting to ease, what are the plans for returning to offices? We gathered views on what the ‘new normal’ looks like and how work has looked in the pandemic
Over a year since the coronavirus pandemic first swept the globe, the impacts are still very much being felt and expected to last for a long time to come.
One of the biggest changes has been around the approach of businesses to the working environment, with widespread remote working enforced in March 2020 as the UK locked down.
But a year later, as employees start being able to return to offices, what approach will companies take to working in the future?

Arnie Johnson, of Erie P.A., passed into his heavenly home on Feb. 9, 2021. He was born in Jamestown N.Y. in Sept. of 1929, the son of the late Carl and Anna (Bergren) Johnson.
Arnie was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He put the “Gentle” in Gentleman and was a true friend in every sense. Arn graduated in 1947 from Jamestown High School. He served with the Army National Guard for seven years. His interest and training in the field of drafting and engineering led him into the design of office furniture. Arnie cofounded BECO Interiors in Jamestown. When the company expanded to Erie, he and his wife Carol became coowners. With their efforts the company grew in the field of office product and design, later expanding into nursing home design in both the Erie and Pittsburgh markets.
