While China didn’t suffer to the same extent as the rest of the world, the pandemic has nevertheless uplifted the creative sector as we know it. From shuttered venues to artists stuck in lockdowns, ideas about how art is produced and released has shifted and, in some cases, opened up the door to new possibilities, forging new relationships that may have never been unearthed if the world’s collective psyche had maintained its facade.
