Town have launched their home and away kits for the 2023/24 season, inspired by the strips the Blues wore when gaining promotion to the Premier League in 1999/00 and then finishing fifth in the top flight the following season, and with funds going to the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, the charity supported by Blues legend Marcus Stewart.
Town striker Connor Wickham has completed his move to Sunderland, signing a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light. The Blues have revealed the fee to be an initial £8.1 million rising to more than £12 million after additional clauses relating to appearances and achievements are triggered. TWTD understands that there is also a clause which will see the Blues receive a percentage of the profit from his future sale.
George Burley has confirmed that he thinks the Richard Wright transfer will still go through despite reports at the weekend that Feyenoord still believed that Jerzy Dudek was an Arsenal target. As far as Town are concerned Wright has agreed a basic deal with the North Londoners with only a few details and a medical to be sorted.
