A CHILDREN’S drama coach has raised a whopping £4,602 for Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) in memory of two friends who lost their lives during the pandemic. Linda Grant, director of The Drama Mill and Indelible Arts Youth Theatre, raised the money by taking a dip a day in East Lothian’s sea, lakes and rivers throughout April. The East Linton resident was joined by friends Martha Simpson, of Haddington, and Robbie Dale, who lives in North Berwick, and also by some of her drama students, including local youngsters Maddie O’Connor, Elize Cetingoz, Dido Knoben, Abby Ireland, Charlotte Rogers, Callum Rennie, Bella Bradley and Mairi Johnston.

Cheyenne is a female German short-haired pointer mix who will be 8 weeks on Dec. 19. She, along with all her littermates, have been raised from birth with lots of handling and love. Included with her adoption, Cheyenne will be spayed and is in the process of receiving her puppy shots and being microchipped. Cheyenne is available for adoption through Compassionate Animal Rescue Efforts.
