The bear, which dug its den under the Anderson family's Duluth front yard sometime in November, hasn’t been seen since the season’s first big snowfall Dec. 5. Before that, the bear had been making nightly excursions to neighbors' garbage cans, gardens and front steps to find trash, pumpkins and anything else edible.
