Man riding lawn tractor dies in crash with car in Marion County Jarrod Clay © Provided by WSYX – Columbus The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Marion County that involved a car and a lawn tractor.  Troopers said the crash happened just after 2 p.m. Wednesday on Marseilles-Galion Road east of Martel Road in Tulley Township.  A Chevrolet Cruze was traveling west on Marseilles-Galion Road when a John Deere lawn tractor driven by Jerry Baldinger, 61, entered the roadway. The Chevrolet struck the tractor before both vehicles were engulfed in flames.  Baldinger was taken to Marion General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
