Thainstone tops at £3885 for Chestermann Data Sage

This heifer and calf from N and N Gwynne, Castlewigg, topped the trade at £3885 A Simmental heifer with bull calf sold achieved £3885 at the inaugural online sale of multi-breed pedigree and non-pedigree females staged at Aberdeen and Northern Marts’ Thainstone centre. With 26 animals finding new homes, the sale leader, Chestermann Data Sage 3, came from N and N Gwynne, Castlewigg, Whithorn. A September, 2018-born heifer sired by Overhill House Data 12, and sold in calf serviced by Sterling Empire, to B Arris, Newton View, Lyne of Skene, Westhill. Next best at £3780 was a Limousin cow and calf from Bill and Garry Patterson, Upper Forgie, Keith. The seven-year-old, Aultside Ivy, is a daughter of Wilodge Cerberus, and is scanned in calf to Goldies Northstar. Taking this outfit home was E and M Greenlaw, Milton Farm, Glenbuchat.
