BUCKHANNON A Pennsylvania teen has been arrested for bringing marijuana into Upshur County from Pennsylvania. Shaliek Rashaud Cox, 18, of Washington, Pa., was arrested for transporting marijuana over state line, possession with intent to deliver and possession of firearm on school property, all felonies. On Jan. 11, 2021, officers with the Buckhannon Police Department responded to a call of a removal of an unwanted person at West Virginia Wesleyan College. While en route, officers were advised of Cox’s description and advised that he had a firearm that he was claiming to be a BB gun. A Wesleyan security officer grabbed the gun which was sitting on the nightstand inside the dorm room with the magazine inside the firearm at the time. Cox had attempted to grab the gun from WVWC security and attempted to leave the scene but was stopped. After making contact with Cox, Cpl.
